Obituary for Vanessa Jordan (Allen)

Vanessa Juanette Allen Jordan, 55, of Jesup, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Vanessa was born on October 04, 1967 to the late, Joe Ingram and Ms. Bessie Mae Attical Allen in Wayne County, Ga. She received her education in Wayne County High School and furthered her education at Valdosta State University where she studied to become an educator. Vanessa was a member of New Miracle Deliverance Field Prayer Center under the leadership of Bishop Melvin Roberts. Her work history entailed working at King and Prince Seafood Processing, between her breaks in college. Vanessa was injured in a vehicle accident from which her health began to decline. Her hobbies include farming, when she was able, but she loved her kids. Although she didn't have any biological children of her own, she adopted two children that she loved as her own, as well as so many others throughout the community that she loved dearly and they in turn, loved her even more,

Vanessa was preceded in death by her father, Joe Ingram; her grandparents, John and Hattie Attical and Roscoe and Alma Deloach-Ingram; her siblings, Frederick and Linda Ingram; her aunts, Daisy Bush, Margie Bailey, Racine Lanier and Gloria Clayton; her uncles, John, Robert and Tommy Attical, Robert, Eugene and Billy Ingram.

Those left to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Aaron Jordan; her children, Jah'Cova and Kadora Ingram; her grandchildren, Yslande' and Yasiren Ingram; her loving mother, Bessie Mae Attical-Allen; her sisters, Glenda (Larry) Arrington and Angela Allen; her aunts, Johnnie M. (Willie C.) Murray and Catherine Jackson; her sisters in-law, Patricia (David) Washington, Gloria Jean Johnson (Tony Powell), Brenda (Mark) Clements and Linda Sams; her brothers in-law, Charlie Martin (Caroline Robinson), Marcus Martin, Gary (Crystal) Monroe, Jeffery (Carolyn) Monroe, Sammy Gilley and Evans Monroe, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowful friends.
