Obituary for Vivian Banks (Kight)

Vivian V. Kight Banks, 73, of Woodbine, Ga. passed away on Thursday, August 05, 2021 at her residence. She was born on September 22, 1947 to the late, Willie D. Kight, Sr. and Lilla Green Kight in Tarboro, Ga. Vivian was educated in the Ralph J. Bunche School System. She joined Oak Hill United Methodist Church, then to White Oak Pentecostal Church and then became a member of Harriett's Bluff Baptist Church, where she assisted in the kitchen duties up until the Lord call her home to rest. She worked with Butler Funeral Home for almost 30 years as an assistant. Vivian loved baking and cooking for those who enjoyed eating her baked goods and dinners. She was a fun loving person that lived life to the fullest. Vivian loved to conversate with everyone that she met, never meeting a stranger. The one thing about Vivian, she didn’t mince words when it came to being right or wrong. If you are wrong, she didn’t mind telling you. Other than cooking for others, she absolutely adored her grandchildren and thought the world of them. The time they spent together was priceless and will forever be cherished for years to come.

Plant, Jacksonville, Fl.; her step children, Faye Roberts, Woodbine, Ga., George (Lisa) Broomfield, Jr., Jacksonville, Fl., Pervis Broomfield, Woodbine, Ga., Rev.
