Obituary for Willie Reddish
Willie Reddish, 75, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Beaufort Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beaufort, SC following a lengthy illness. He was born on September 25, 1945 in Odum, Ga. to the late, Elzie Reddish, Sr. and Anna Filmore-Reddish. Willie was a graduate of Wayne County Training School and soon after finishing high school he enlisted in the U S Army and received an honorable discharge. He was also employed with CSX Railroad and worked many years in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Elzie and Anna Reddish, and his brothers, Eddie Reddish and Elzie Reddish, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memories: his sisters, Retha Williams of North Carolina and Erma R. Mallory of Glen Allen, Va.; five nephews, one niece, a host of aunts, uncle and many other relatives and friends.
There will be a walk thru viewing held at Royal Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by a private interment at Ga. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 8819 US Hwy 301, Glennville, Ga. 30427.
Everyone planning to attend the walk thru viewing are asked to wear your mask and adhere to the social distancing guidelines set by the local health authorities and CDC.
