Obituary for Wilma Robinson (Pearsey)

Wilma Jean Pearsey Robinson was born on July 22, 1946, to the late, Wilmer Pearsey and Annie Will Boone in Baxley, Ga. Wilma was educated in the Wayne County Training School and was a former employee of DMI Healthcare Distributor and Hickory Springs Manufacturing. Wilma was a member of Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Wilma was united in holy matrimony to the father of her children, the late, Leroy Robinson, Sr. and to this union three children were born, Leroy Jr., Darrell and Erica Robinson. She always enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Wilma passed away on November 29, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Healthcare System in Brunswick, Ga. She was preceded in death by both parents, Wilmer and Annie Will Pearsey; and her siblings, Ulysses Pearsey, Walter Pearsey, Beatrice Lee, Jim Pearsey, Rozell Gilmore, Dennis Pearsey and Denise Pearsey Dixon.

Those left to cherish her memory: her children, Leroy Robinson, Jr., Jesup, Ga. Darrell (Cassie) Robinson, Jacksonville, Fl. and Erica Robinson, Jesup, Ga.; her grandchildren, Jamal, Jessica, Jariet, Anthony and Maya; her great grandchildren, Jacharia, Jaleia, Kirsten, Jamil, Janece, Jeremiah, Jireh, Jarrius, Jarrion, Lazariah, Abrielle and Theodore; her siblings, Corine Howard of Jesup, Ga. and Carlean Copeland of Deltona, FL, Verdine Robinson of Orlando, FL, James Daniels of Miami, FL and James Wright of Hawthorn, FL; close friends, Mrs. Jeanette Powell and Mrs. Shirlene Armstrong, both of Jesup, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545 from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday. December 10, 2022 @ 11:00 a.m. at Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church, 401 W. Pine Street, Jesup, Ga. 31545.

Interment in Sunset Oaks Memorial Cemetery, Jesup, Ga.
